Use the LLC recording studio! The recording studio includes a Blue Bluebird Large Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone with pop-filter, a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB Audio Interface, Garageband, amps and headphones.
When you record let us know and we'll publish your music for free!
The room can be reserved by any NNHS student or staff upon agreeing to the five basic rules for the recording studio.
1. No food in the studio at any time.
2. No more than four recording students in the studio at any time. This means musicians, composers, and producers only. All users must sign in to the room before and after each session. The clipboard is at the circulation desk.
3. Do not leave the studio door propped open or the studio insecure.
4. Do not put down the shades.
5. Monitor your noise level; remember that you are in a library and some people are trying to study outside.
You have the privilege of using the recording studio. If you do not follow the rules you will lose your privilege for an indeterminable time. The microphones and equipment are expensive, delicate instruments. Handle them with care. Let a library teacher know immediately if something is broken. When you are finished recording, immediately return everything you checked out and take out anything you brought in.
