Research project:

In developing a thesis students will focus on one of the following topics:

-Why is the French Revolution seen by some historians as the beginning of the modern world?

- Why did the Axis Powers lose WWII?

- Why did Britain and France appease Germany? Was appeasing Germany the right thing to do under the circumstances?

You will write a 5-7 pg. paper with a Works Cited page at the end. You need to use two books (can be eBooks), one primary source, and one article from a periodical or academic journal to help prove your paper's thesis.

Day 1:

Find and read a topic overview from Britannica

Day 2:

While reading, identify keywords that you can use to do a deeper search for information using any of these databases. The databases have: journals, periodicals, primary sources, and some eBooks.

Day 3:

Find and cite at least one primary source.
