The Renaissance was a time of dramatic change in European history. For the first time since ancient Rome, people in Europe began focusing on improving their lives on Earth, as humanism began to influence many people. The artists, art, and architecture of that era are the clearest examples of how influential those ideas were.
To demonstrate your understanding of these humanist ideas, you will complete a research project that answers the following question:
Which Renaissance ideal(s) most shaped the life and work of your chosen artist?
