Progressive Rountable : Movements and Moments

Research project:

Project Overview:

In the Progressive era (1900-1920), there is a shift in the way people see the role of government. People are seeking to solve the problems of the Gilded Age, and they are involved in many social issues that become visible during that time. Moreover, many believe that the government SHOULD play an active role in reforming American society.

In this project, you will select an individual who you find interesting. You will conduct research on this person, their life, motivation and accomplishments. After you write an analytical paper on this individual, you will participate in a ‘roundtable discussion’ as this person and interact with other Progressive figures.

Research Requirements
